A Peek At What’s Happening On The Deepest Sea Floor – Mariana Trench

Very little is known about the marine life found in the deepest sea floor habitats, take a peek.

The Mariana Trench, formed about 50 million years ago, it is as deep as 11km below the surface.

The belief is that fish evolved from higher, shallow waters. This evolution takes quite a bit of tie and therefore not many species have evolved the ability to evolve to make it to the depths of the trench.

At this depth scientists must rely on technology such as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs ) to explore the various marine life found a these depths. A group of scientists set out to observe and learn from these uniquely adapted life forms. The featured vide clip below provides an awesome look at their finding.,
